It’s wild how everything seemingly happens for a reason, right? Including how I found myself as a Warshaw Entertainment Casting Specialist.
5 years of my life were spent cruising around the world. From Alaska to Australia, Spain, Fiji, and everywhere in between, my time performing on cruise ships not only allowed me to experience the world beyond my hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio- but it equipped me for so many different parts of life.
In 2015 my husband (boyfriend at the time), and I were hired by Carnival Cruise Lines, as Playlist Production Cast Members. Fresh out of college, it was the PERFECT opportunity. Travel the world together, get paid to do it, get out of student loan debt, meet some incredible people, and see some amazing places. THE DREAM!
After our fifth contract as Singer/Dancers, we came home for a vacation. It was December 2019. Not sure why- but we decided not to jump back in for another cruise contract immediately. (Oh, the timing). If you were living in the same world as me, you know where we found ourselves just a couple of months later in March 2020.
In 2023, I came across the search for a Casting Specialist with Warshaw Entertainment. The idea of helping performers, musicians, singers, and dancers find a way to make their dream of becoming cruise ship performers come true sounded like an amazing next step.
I now LOVE connecting with performers from all over the world each day, and assisting them with their audition materials, ensuring we put their best foot forward, helping them to land that cruise ship gig and truly LIVE THE DREAM!
Currently, I have performers traveling in Rome, Italy; Paris, France; around the Mediterranean, and even in the US on River Boats. Singing, dancing, playing, and performing for a living. Warshaw Entertainment not only helps our performers get the job but to feel comfortable, and to create a lifestyle they come to love and enjoy for multiple contracts.
